Three trucks need a time out when they play a little too long at the playground.
It was my third book published by Little, Brown. It was later released in paperback by Scholastic.
It received positive reviews in Kirkus and Publisher's Weekly, and is a frequent pick on library lists for dealing with emotions.
It has also taken its place in the Trucks section!
Illustrator Guy Parker-Rees previously illustrated the best-selling Giraffes Can't Dance.
Fun fact: it is the favorite book of Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, per this July 2019 article in Parents magazine.
